Item Description

Reflecting the sun-filled cultures he loves to visit, Jack Charney's Red Spot Triangle Bowl features the bold, intense colors and unique designs that are inspired by his international travels.

This stoneware bowl measures 3"(h) x 9"(w) x 8"(d). It delights the eye, uplifts the spirit and is sure to please the palate of its lucky owner.

Jack Charney, who is based in New Mexico, discovered an interest in clay while still a teenager. He studied at Antioch College, traveling for two years in South America where he learned basic techniques he still uses from potters on the Mexican border. After graduating with degrees in Art, Latin American Studies and American Education, Jack traveled and earned further degrees at the University of Washington in Seattle. Recent trips to Bali, Thailand, Kenya and New Zealand continue to inform his artwork.
