Item Description

Bathed in a mesmerizing amethyst mist, Jamestown Fog captures a "mystical moment" that explodes softly with nearly primordial potency. Kilguss recalls with ecstasy the sights, sounds and smells she experienced while painting Jamestown Fog on location. "If only the whole world had been by my side to experience that wonder and sheer beauty!" This is a painting you will cherish for a lifetime.

Jamestown Fog is an oil on board measuring 10"(h) x 22"(w) in a gold wood frame.

Elsie Kilguss is a contemporary plein air painter whose colorful and expressive canvases depict the unusual effects of outdoor elements. A graduate of RISD and the Cape Cod School of Art, Elsie has lived and painted in RI for over forty years. Her work has been widely recognized and her paintings hang in private and corporate collections throughout the US, the Caribbean and Europe.
