Item Description
Bonnie Ryan is a rubble-rouser. Finding beauty in "unexpected places," Bonnie acquires discarded junk and creates art with it. Her Girl in a Fringed Skirt, a quixotic mix of metal and imagination on hand-made paper, nearly dances off the screen, inviting us along. This mixed-media piece is one in a series of girls in skirts made from recycled trash. It measures 11"(h) x 9"(w) x 3"(d) in a mahogany-toned shadow box frame under glass.
In addition to painting and drawing, Bonnie Ryan recently began collecting found objects. She is an avid recycler and creative artist who lives in Cambridge, MA.
