Item Description

Run your hand over Sally Cobb's soft sandstone-colored tea set and it feels as smooth as a silk ribbon. Simplicity fired with functionality, the lovely matte glaze teapot and bowls will make a hallowed tea ceremony of everyday Darjeeling.

The teapot measures 8"(h) x 8"(w) x 6"(d) and the tea bowls measure 3"(h) x 3"(w) x 3"(d).

Sally Cobb has been a professional potter for 25 years, working in stoneware to create functional pieces which can be appreciated in daily life. She prefers the symmetry and simplicity of wheel-thrown pots and subtle glazes. She has a home studio in Attleboro where she shows and sells her work. Sally is a former teacher of the Attleboro Arts Museum School.
