Item Description

California artist Susan Strong Muir combines the sophisticated elegance of calla lilies with dynamic compositional rhythm in her lively raw-edged watercolor. Our photograph cannot do justice to the exquisite framing of the piece, as it is set in relief and then double matted, with a lovely gold leaf wood frame. It measures 24"(h) x 20"(w) framed under glass (image size: 12" x 9").

Susan Strong Muir of La Mesa California is a multi-media artist whose memberships include the Photographic Society of America, the National Collage Society, the International Society of Experimental Artists and the Midwest Watercolor Society, among others. A graduate of Long Beach City College, Susan continues her research in Conceptual Art, Performance and Minimalist Art. She has won awards in numerous juried shows. We are thrilled to share with you her third transcontinental auction donation.
