Item Description
A mixed-media on plywood, Phil McBride's The Silver Shoe
is a fascinating 'Hip-Hop' collage incorporating objects that the artist uses "like paint," contributing to his creation and to the illusion. This is a very large piece that draws the eye in again and again to look at ordinary objects, pigment, and life itself in bold new ways.
The Silver Shoe is a mixed media on plywood that measures 48"(h) x 48"(w) x 4"(d).
Phil McBride's work is about spontaneity and creativity. In his art, the paint creates an illusion as well as being very alive on the canvas. Phil was selected for this year's Attleboro Arts Museum exhibition, 6 Artists, 6 Visions 2005.
