The ordinary becomes extraordinary in the pioneering "grateworks" of Florida artist Bobbi Mastrangelo. Celebrated for her unique urban art pieces, Mastrangelo has created Attleboro Underfoot especially for the Attleboro Arts Museum's 2005 Auction. This exquisite relief sculpture captures the beauty of a small water cover in a cement sidewalk. Set in a Michael Kulicke "Golden Renaissance" wooden frame, it can stand upright or be hung on the wall and measures 13"(h) x 12"(w) x 2"(d). (A booklet of information about the artist is included.)
Bobbi Mastrangelo's "Grateworks" incorporate manhole covers and water covers in urban settings. She is listed in "Who's Who in American Art, " Who's Who of American Women" and in other publications. Her art is prominent in collections including: The Baltimore Museum of Public Works, The Heckscher Museum, The Islip Art Museum and the Zimmerli Museum at Rutgers University.

This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Museum from Nov. 15th - Nov. 19th. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
