Item Description

The lens of photographic artist, Harry Glaser, captures a luminous shore moment in County Donegal, Ireland. Glistening in the frothy surf, the stones of Erin's Marble Shore offer a contrast to its dark, antediluvian shapes. The composition creates a sense of rhythmic movement, ebb and flow, that makes us want to dip our toes. The black & white photograph measures 13"(h) x 14"(w) in a black metal frame under glass. (image size: 8" x 8")

Harry Glaser is a Providence-based artist who began his career teaching film, media and English literature on the college level. He eventually rediscovered his first love -- photography. One of his current specialties is creating still life studies by applying oils to black and white photographs. He is also concentrating on very large format black and white images.
