Item Description

EunKyung Jeong's intriguing white mixed-media piece may suggest the pure and pregnant moment when our Identity is first formed. The artist grew up in Asia, exploring "infinite compositions within scenery" and using her art to make sense of the world. Identity is a small relief piece, incorporating clay and acrylic on wood. It measures 8"(h) x 8"(w).

Presently an assistant professor at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, EunKyung received her MFA in Sculpture and BA in Art History from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is affiliated with the Women's Studio Workshop in Rosendale, NY, the Asian American Women Artist Alliance and the Korean National Sculptors Association, among others. She exhibits in numerous national and international exhibitions. This is EunKyung's first auction donation.
