Item Description

According to Mason Murer Fine Art, Annette Needle's terra cotta forms "are physical abstractions of the figure that psychologically define space." Net Head is a unique sculpture that suggests ancient archetypes as well as a contemporary sensibility. It measures 9"(h) x 5"(w) x x 5"(d).

Annette Buonanno Needle is a Board Member of the National Association of Women Artists. She originated the sculpture reproduction program for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where for over ten years, she held the distinguished position of Master-Craftsman-in Charge of the sculpture reproduction studio. Annette is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, and her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and abroad, where it is held in many private collections. She is a noted art restorer, conducts a clay sculpture therapy program in New York's Washington Heights District, and also teaches in the "Children with Special Needs" program at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC.
