Item Description

Didi Suydam believes "wearing jewelry should be a sensual experience, physically and visually." Her shapes are influenced by ancient cultures and architecture as well as the natural world and will respond to the body and movement of the wearer. Didi's exquisite one-of-a-kind Scored Teardrop Earrings are hand fabricated in sterling silver and 18 karat bimetal. They measure 3"(h) x 1"(w).

Didi Suydam received her BFA in Light Metals from RISD. She has received numerous awards, including the DeBeers Diamond Design Award, and fellowships in Craft and Design from the National Endowment for the Arts and the RI State Council on the Arts. She has been featured in jewelry, metalsmithing and design books and magazines, as well as in numerous fashion publications. Didi has a retail shop in Newport, Rhode Island.

This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Museum from Nov. 15th - Nov. 19th. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
