Item Description

Artist Linda Alger has a knack for seeing and appreciating the beauty in her own local environment. And though Mechanics Pond is one of a series of Alger's paintings of Attleboro, the woodland scene with its invitation to pause and reflect, transcends place and time.

Linda's watercolor measures 17"(h) x 24"(w) in a gold metal frame under glass.

Long time Museum member, past Trustee and Attleboro resident, Linda Alger has played a key role in the Attleboro art community for many years. She is a featured writer of an art and crafts column for the Sun Chronicle newspaper and for each of the 14 years of our annual Auction, Linda has generously donated her work.
