Item Description

The sensitive watercolor palette of local artist, Kristina Occhino is soft and inviting, despite the ominous signs of an Approaching Storm. Painted plein air on the beach at Ocean Point, East Boothbay Maine, the piece is double matted with archival mats and backing. It measures 20"(h) x 28"(w) in a brushed gold metal frame.

Kristina Occhino holds a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College and a Masters in Art Education from RISD. She is currently on the faculty of the Fuller Craft Museum and the Attleboro Arts Museum, where she teaches watercolor painting, experimental mixed watermedia painting and Sumi-e painting. Kris has exhibited her work at venues throughout Massachusetts, at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and at various art festivals. She is a former Director of the Attleboro Arts Museum.
