Item Description

Landscape and sky become one in this soft-focused, timeless etching by Diana Jacobs titled View #21. Based on aerial views taken from a hot air balloon in France, this breathtaking hand-colored etching is part of the artist's Topologie Series. It is signed and numbered (5/6) measuring 23"(h) x 20"(w) in a metal frame under glass(image size: 8" x 8").

Diana Jacobs was born and raised on Long Island, New York. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, she moved to Los Angeles, where she received certificates in both botanical and zoological illustration from the Natural History Museum of LA. She has worked in venues as diverse as Madison Avenue, and Huntington Gardens, and has taught at Otis-Parsons. Her works are in permanent collections including the New York Public Library, National Museum of Women in the Arts, and Corcoran Gallery of Art.
