Item Description

Perhaps the perfect image for an Arts Museum fundraiser, Michael Alfano's Money is a wall sculpture that would be a perfect office accent for financial institutions of any size or stripe. Cast in hydrostone, the personified dollar sign is 7"(h) x 4"(w) x 4"(d).

Michael Alfano has been sculpting figures, monuments, and philosophical pieces for ten years. After graduating with a degree in business, his original career was as a stockbroker. Soon dissatisfied, he turned to sculpting, in part to transform the pain of a personal tragedy. Michael studied at the Art Students League of New York, and Boston University. He has created numerous commissioned works, including a portrait sculpture of Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat, and more recently a bronze and granite 9/11 memorial for the Town of Norfolk, MA.
