Item Description
Silhouetted against a blushing sunset sky, Corner Tacuba and Bolivar, Mexico City, gives new meaning to the phrase "pretty in pink." (bonita de rosa!). Margo Lemieux's etching with aquatint is an artist proof printed with two plates, one the image and the other a rainbow roll in color. It measures 26"(h) x 14"(w) in a black metal frame under glass.
Margo Lemieux is a long-time museum member and generous donor to our annual auction. She teaches at Lasell College, illustrates children's books and has paintings in several private collections. Margo writes a monthly children's book column for The Sun Chronicle, articles for national publications, such as BookPage and has designed art for music festivals, including the Boston Folk Festival. Margo holds a M.Ed. from Curry College and a BFA from Boston University. She is currently working towards an MFA in printmaking at UMass Dartmouth.

This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Museum from Nov. 15th - Nov. 19th. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
