Item Description
With its penetrating textural and compositional contrasts, Elaine Fisher's dramatic photo, Afterwards leads us into the dark corners of our imaginations where we are continuously drawn to consider both medium and message. Are we isolated and alone -- or is the shadowy figure on a 'stairway to the stars?'
Elaine's digital photograph measures 11"(h) x 14"(w) in a black metal frame under glass (image size: 7"x 10")
Elaine Fisher is a Chancellor Professor and Head of Photography at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, where she has taught since 1973. She studied with Minor White, earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters of Design Studies in Computer Studies from Harvard University. She has had 143 exhibitions in over 100 galleries and her medium is Fine Art Digital Photography.
