Item Description
Rhode Island artist Peter Campbell transports us "back to the future" to celebrate the rich history of an American icon in Mickey's Diner Car. This lush and lovingly rendered still-life depicts a cast iron model of a well known diner. "The idea for this painting came out of my love for American Diners and the way they are set into the urban landscape," Peter notes.
This oil on canvas measures 20"(h) x 34"(w). It is framed with a simple oak trim and accented with a recessed black trim.
Peter Campbell is a cherished member, long-time auction donor, and past Trustee of the Attleboro Arts Museum. A 1970 graduate of the Vesper George School of Art in Boston, Peter is a member of the National Society of Painters in Çasein and Acrylic in New York City. His paintings have been exhibited throughout the East and are represented in many private collections. He has won numerous awards and artistic honors and has written and illustrated three children's books.
