Item Description
This collaborative work is inspired by the bold, graphic Log Cabin Variation quilt and the rich colors of Broken Dishes. A palette of saturated warm and cool colors are placed in a distinctive diagonal pattern. The lines of this pattern are boldly crossed by placing concentric quilting circles centered on alternating squares. These circles give a sense of floating across the quilt, which creates a visual rhythm that adds another dimension to the beautiful quilt top. A secondary pattern is created by the outside edge of these circles. Stippling is used to emphasize the middle squares and blend the colors. Dimensions: 50" x 59"
