The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Miami is an organization at the Coral Gables campus that allows anyone aged 50 or more to continue a non-credit education. Members are able to attend courses that are part of the OLLI - courses range from International Politics to History, Literature, Spanish and French classes as well as hands-on art and computer classes. There are usually 20 or so classes each session - a session lasts six weeks and each class meets once a week for two hours - there are 34 weeks of programming every year. Members of OLLI are also allowed to audit university classes. In addition, there are other social events, off-campus trips and events on campus that include OLLI members.
Item Special Note
Bidders should be aged 50 or more or anyone who would like to give the membership as a gift to someone of the appropriate age. An annual membership begins at the time the membership is requested.
