Item Description

Bring your date Downtown for a savory meal at Akash India, then walk over to the Aronoff Center for the arts for one of the Cincinnati Arts Association's Presenting shows, Shanti: A Journey of Peace.

On Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 8:00 PM in Procter & Gamble Hall Shanti: A Journey of Peace will reveal an expansive, collaborative community that explores the meanings and message of peace, joy and the interconnectedness of us all through the dance, music and images of India.

This acclaimed multi-media event -- which premiered to a sold-out audience on May 1, 2004 at the University of Cincinnati's Great Hall -- will be recreated in the Aronoff Center's Procter & Gamble Hall with a 140-member choir, Indian chamber orchestra, and authentic Indian dancers. Shanti is created and directed by local musician and composer, Kanniks Kannikeswaran, and the Shanti combined-community choir will be led by Catherine Roma (Artistic Director, MUSE).

The time has never been better to come together in harmony and take a journey of peace with SHANTI! www.shantichoir.com.

Restaurant certificates do not include gratuity.

Seats are located in the Orchestra section, Row L, 212 & 213.
