Item Description
This is a hand signed hat by Yogi Berra inscribed with "They Can't Beat Us." On the hat itself is the year 1918. The year 1918 signifies the last time the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. Before game seven of the 2003 American League Championship Series, Yogi Berra was in the Yankees dugout. As he looked across the dugout he noticed the team to be down and worried, especially captain Derek Jeter. He proceeded to explain to Derek no matter what happens during this game, good or bad, just remember in the back of your mind Boston cannot beat us. We all know that Aaron Boone hit a walk off HR to send the Yankees to the World Series & Derek Jeter spoke to the Daily News after the game explaining the story.
