Sandy Petrulionis, Associate Professor of English at Penn State University, and Exec. Sec. of Thoreau Society will provide a lecture (and visit classes if desired) anywhere in the continental U.S. on the subject of Henry D. Thoreau and the U.S. antislavery movement. If you prefer, the lecture can focus on many aspects of this general topic, or it can emphasize a particular aspect, such as Thoreau's antislavery speeches, John Brown, Concord and antislavery, or the Concord Female Anti-Slavery Society. Estimated Value: $500 + expenses (will drive rather than fly if location is 200 miles or less from central PA)
