Item Description
Her name might be King but she is undeniably the queen of tennis--not only because she dominated the sport for more than two decades, but also because she planted a stake for women everywhere in a place other than the home. In the 1973 Wimbledon tournament, Billie Jean King defeated Chris Evert laying claim to her sixth Wimbledon singles title. She also won the U.S. Open singles title four times and became Sports Illustrated's first female Sportsperson of the Year. Tennis legend Billy Jean King hand-signed this amazing 16x20 photograph. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
