Parker Huber, author of The Wildest Country: A Guide to Thoreau's Maine and other publications on Thoreau and American nature writing. A writer, teacher, environmentalist, and guide, Parker Huber knows and loves Monadnock, which he climbs often on special days in all seasons. He will gladly share his knowledge of and affection for Mondanock during a day hike and climb, beginning with a morning rendezvous in scenic and historic Jaffrey, New Hampshire.
