This stunning coffee table book is a collection of beautiful and haunting images by world-renowned photographer Edward Curtis. Curtis set out specifically and deliberately to capture the spirit of the Indian lifestyle (while it was still intact) and to invest his photographs with it. Out of print, elephant folio, Promontory Press, 1972. Very good condition-tight binding, very minor soil on front cover, small nick in back cover, free of markings, names, bookplates.
