Silvia Garcia-Carreras Feenaghty is a native of the island of Cuba and has lived in Georgia since 1961 and in Peachtree City since 1969. . Her paintings are or have been on display at: Capitol, Washington, D.C, Governor's office, Georgia State Capitol; Peachtree City Library, Newnan Library, Arts Clayton Gallery; Fayetteville Library; Newnan Hospital, Teavana at The Avenue in Peachtree City.
