A graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Basko was among the first to study acupuncture for animals at UCLA and is a founding member of the Veterinary Botanical Medical Association. He lectures internationally, publishes widely, and continues to pioneer gentle, natural approaches to animal care.

Known for his calm and compassionate manner. Dr. Basko creates a healing environment that feels more like a tropical spa than a clinic - filled with sunlight, warmth, and soothing sounds. His work embodies the heart of Kaua'i: peaceful, balanced, and deeply caring.
