A rare French botanical print from the 19th century, beautifully portraying the Brassia Caudata orchid, also known as the Spider Orchid. With its striking long yellow petals accented by spotted patterns, this hand-colored engraving captures both the elegance and exoticism of this unusual orchid species. The artistry highlights the fine detail of the plant’s structure while celebrating the botanical fascination of the era.

Donated by Sylvie Carnot, award-winning cinematographer and artist of San Francisco and Sebastopol, California, this rare antique print is both a collector’s treasure and a striking decorative piece.
