Item Description

Photography

18" x 22" x 0.5"

Ashley Saccoach earned her BFA in Photography from the Art Institute of Boston and has exhibited her work at the AAM, Laconia Gallery in Boston, MA, and the Photographic Resource Center. She is currently a mental health counselor, focusing on using photography as a therapeutic tool.

"Winter Wanderer" was photographed in Iceland in 2023. Ashley was inspired by the profound solitude she witnessed in the Icelandic horse standing alone against the vast white landscape. She was drawn to how the animal seemed perfectly at home in the harsh beauty of winter, embodying both vulnerability and endurance in a single frame.
