Item Description

16" x 19" x 1"
The artist has graciously agreed to start the bidding at $225.
Mary Wojciechowski, a retired visual arts teacher, is a signature member of both the NE Watercolor Society and the RI Watercolor Society where she is co-president. She is also a juried member of both the Cape Cod Art Center and the Wickford Art Association and her work has been accepted consistently into juried exhibitions, regionally and nationally. Currently, Mary teaches painting workshops in NE and is represented by True Grit Art Gallery, Middleboro, MA.
Mary Wojciechowski's favorite subjects are derived from any coastal area, especially along the shorelines of MA and RI. Although she is primarily a plein air painter, "Beach Pathways" was painted from photographs taken of a beautiful beach found in Harwich Port while vacationing. What drew her in was this cluster of evergreens growing out of the sand that added a "glimpsing through" perspective she found captivating. Mary has since painted many variations of this view.
