Joni Lohr, an award-winning Boston photographer, focuses on street, architectural, performance, and abandonment photography. She is active in several arts organizations including the Boston Camera Club, Cambridge Art Association, and Photographic Resource Center. She has exhibited her work throughout the greater Boston metropolitan area including the Menino Art Center, the Beacon Gallery, Galatea Fine Art Gallery, Bromfield Gallery, Plymouth Center for the Arts, and the AAM.
"On the Summer Porch" invites viewers into a quiet moment of forgotten comfort. This worn armchair, once a place of rest, now speaks of time's passing through its frayed seams and sun-faded fabric. Set against the stillness of an abandoned porch, it holds traces of presence - conversations, silence and memory. Lohr is drawn to these remnants of lived life, where decay becomes a kind of poetry. In this image, neglect and nostalgia coexist in quiet conversation.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th – 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
