Item Description

Epoxy resin and hydrostone

8" x 10" x 2"

Vesna Longton is a New England-based sculptor and painter working at the intersection of painting and sculpture. Using resin, glass, and Plexiglass, she creates layered works that explore light, depth, and texture. Inspired by nature, symbolism, and Shamanic traditions, her art reflects themes of connection, growth, and the unseen forces that shape us, using light as a metaphor for the soul.

This piece reflects the artist's admiration for Botticelli and his love for the ocean. It is part of an ongoing portrait series of the artist's daughter, who has always reminded Longton of Botticelli's Venus.
