Set of five, 6.5" x 6.5" x 1.5" each
The Attleboro Arts Museum is auctioning off a "mystery artwork" donated by a highly acclaimed, award-winning artist. This mystery piece (that happens to be a set of FIVE paintings!) will be revealed when the gavel falls during Saturday, November 1st's live auction and the lot is awarded to the highest bidder. This lot is a wonderful example of the artist's skill, mastery of material and celebration of nature's beauty. The only details that can be shared at this time are:
- Color palette of artwork: Moody backgrounds with saturated colors
- Subject: A series of five beautiful paintings that will delight any collector's home or office - particularly those who enjoy nature's blooms (hint).
- The artist: Our mystery artist gets inspiration for their paintings through observations and interactions with nature. They enjoys traveling to the many National Parks in the US, visiting local wildlife sanctuaries and has a deep appreciation for the variation of flora and fauna. The artist keeps a camera and sketchbook nearby to document their interpretations either through photography, sketching, or writing.
Online bidding for this item CLOSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th, AT 5PM.
Final bidding will take place in-person during the LIVE AUCTION event on Saturday, November 1st. If you're unable to attend the live auction, you can leave a "high bid" amount online (no later than October 29th, 5pm EST) and the auctioneer will represent your bid during the live event.
