Item Description
With its soft stone-like surface of sand, clay, and ash tones, this lidded vase carries both beauty and purpose. Created by Daijo Kaneshiro, a former Zen priest at Chozen-ji, its rounded body and fitted lid evoke a sense of quiet containment, perfect for holding offerings, keepsakes, or simply standing as a sculptural expression of harmony. The interplay of natural hues brings warmth and grounding presence, a reminder of the Zen ideal that function and art live seamlessly together.
