Hand stitched by Maile Bloxom.

69” x 76"

This breathtaking, one-of-a-kind quilt was lovingly hand-stitched by Maile Bloxom, daughter of Vicky and a former student of renowned elementary school teacher Lynn Muramoto at Kapaʻa Elementary School. Maile’s talent blossomed at a young age, and the same warmth, joy, and aloha that she shared with everyone as a child continues to shine through her quilting today. Each stitch reflects her heart, creativity, and deep island roots.

The quilt features a stunning arrangement of blue and white kaleidoscope-style blocks, creating a mesmerizing visual flow reminiscent of ocean waves, Hawaiian flora, and island skies. Its craftsmanship, color harmony, and thoughtful design make it a true heirloom piece — perfect to display, gift, or treasure for generations.

This quilt also carries the legacy of a beloved Kauaʻi institution: Vicky’s Fabrics. A family-owned small business for over 35 years, Vicky’s has been a cornerstone of the island’s sewing and quilting community. Now led by Maile, Vicky’s continues to inspire creativity with the island’s best selection of Hawaiian fabrics, quilting supplies, patterns, and locally handcrafted goods.

Owning this quilt is not only acquiring a piece of art — it’s supporting a legacy of family, community, and Hawaiian craftsmanship.
