Item Description

This auction item is a wonderful fine art print by local artist Marionette Taboniar. Here she depicts a fruit so familiar to us here on Kauai, namely the ubiquitous Ananas comosus, which we commonly call pineapple. The pastel color scheme ranges from cool to hot with the long, pointy bromiliad leaves radiating a colorful energy that envelops the oh-so-delicious fruit. If you ever desired an artwork that shouts "tropical flora" at you, this fine print is for you.
This item is a fine art print on textured watercolor paper and is signed by the artist. It measures 24" x 34".
Marionette's art is featured in the new NETFLIX movie "Finding 'Ohana" and in season 2 of the new Magnum PI. Her paintings can be found at the Koloa Landing Resort in Poipu and in public and private collections throughout the world. Her painting "Ti Leaves and Palm Trees" was featured in The Artists Magazine, and she has also created designs for Designs Studios Honolulu, Aunty Lilikoi, Kauai Coffee, Hawaiian Pineapple Company, Mele Kalikimaka Tshirts, and the cover of two short stories by author, Gregg Edwards Townsley.
