Imagine rising before the sun, greeting the horizon as it blushes with pinks and golds — all from 1,000 feet up in a majestic hot air balloon, floating gently over the landscape of southern New Hampshire.
Here’s what you’ll experience:
You’ll meet at North Salem Village to pick the perfect launch site.
You can help with—or simply watch as—the balloon is set up: laying out the fabric, cold-inflating it with fans, and finally lighting the burner (flame reaching up to 25 feet!) to make the balloon stand upright.
Then, you’ll step into the basket, and for about an hour (weather/wind permitting), drift silently with the breeze. Take in views that few ever see: the patchwork of fields, forests, lakes, and rooftops, all bathed in early morning light.
After landing you'll have a champagne toast back at Ermer Road, where you can share stories and relive the sights of the sky.
