You and five of your friends will join Ricardo Rosas, Executive Pastry Chef at Faubourg Paris and Chef Instructor at VCC, for a macaron making class that will demystify these delicious and delicate treats. You'll enjoy some sparkling wine and charcuterie, because why not? And best of all, at the end you'll have some delicious treats to take home to show off your newfound talents!
Upon receiving his Baking and Pastry Arts diploma he worked for several restaurants before becoming the Assistant Pastry Chef at DB Bistro Moderne, one of several Daniel Boulud acclaimed restaurants.
After a successful tenure there he became the Executive Pastry Chef at Faubourg Bakery, where he has remained for 15 years.
Ricardo has most recently entered into teaching as a Chef Instructor at Vancouver Community College's Department of Baking and Pastry Arts.
He hopes to continue teaching and inspiring new generations of Bakers and Pastry Chefs.
