Item Description

This beautifully framed and matted picture shows a train just pulling into a station on a snowy day.  On the back is additional information and a Certificate of Authenticity. #106/525

"Making tracks to Manassas" by Linda Parker  Train Depot Manassas, Virginia

Built in 1914 and restored in 1997. The Manassas Railroad Station is a working railroad station and is also home to the historic Manassas Visitor Center.

Manassas is still a train town. Many still make tracks to the station daily, some as commuters others as travelers and then there are those just waiting to see trains roll by such as the Norfolk & Southern, included in this painting.

Donated by Mr. and Mrs. Randall Scott, dear friends of Constituting America!
