Item Description
This detailed and fun vintage enameled porcelain/clay giraffe brooch/pin resembles or is an early Cynthia Chuang piece. The artistry looks like her work and I was told it was- by the original purchaser (my mom)- but the signature looks different (and it does not have the "signature" stamp that her later pieces carried on the back). In any case, Cynthia who studied at the National Taiwan Academy of Arts and later Parsons School of Design, was/is quite talented and her work was shown in top galleries, stores, and juried craft fairs. Again, if this is not her piece, it is a great "copy" and wonderful.
