Established in 1925, the historic Hawthorne Hotel is situated in the heart of Salem, overlooking Salem Common and the Witch Museum and just steps from the Peabody Essex Museum, House of the Seven Gables, Pickering Wharf, and Front Street. The historic Hawthorne is the perfect base for exploring Salem and the North Shore.
The Tavern
The cozy pub offers a full menu, creative cocktails and local draft beers daily from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. The inviting decor features oak paneling, a wood-burning fireplace and view of Salem Common.
Nathaniel's
Named after The Scarlet Letter author Nathaniel Hawthorne, this light-infused restaurant with a 1920s vibe and baby grand piano serves breakfast and dinner and features live entertainment.
