Item Description
Gather all your friends and enjoy a 2-hour, private show with one of Moab's favorite bands, The Butch Cassidies!
The Butch Cassidies is an eclectic folk rock band out of Moab, known for its original songs and rich harmonies. They have referred to themselves as a "confessional folk" band with their honest and humorous lyrics.
The band members, Emily Cox, Lisa Hathaway and Josie Kovash met on stage at a local venue in December 2022 and have been performing together ever since. Emily, the band’s primary songwriter, has been writing original songs, playing guitar and performing solo and in small bands across the country for the past twenty years. Emily recently released an original 5 song EP, which was produced by acclaimed musician Joe Craven.
Lisa Hathaway (guitarist/vocalist), is a Moab musician who has been performing as a solo artist and in multiple Moab-based bands for nearly thirty years. She plays a wide array of genres in her many bands—from stripped down folk to full-band disco/dance shows. Lisa loves balancing her sets with equal attention to instrumental and vocal delivery.
Josie Kovash on bass and vocals, has been playing in various Moab based bands, beginning with a garage band started by her parents (Phil Dirt), for the past 2 decades. She made the move from keys to bass years ago after Lisa, having observed her consistently "left hand driven" piano technique, said, “You’re my new bass player…here’s our set list, and we have a gig in a month!”. As they say, the rest was history.
