Item Description
Sister Corita Kent (1918-1986) combined colorful abstract painting with relevant quotes. Several times, she quoted Henry David Thoreau in her work. This is a sample of her artwork that appeared on a page in a magazine in the 1970s or 1980s. The page was torn from the magazine, taped on some edges, and laminated, before it was placed into this frame. This is NOT an original print. It's still a nice selection for any wall! The poster features the quote: "It is not enough to be busy ... the question is: What are we busy about?" The metal frame has a few small dings from storage, and one corner is a bit sun-tanned.
