Item Description
In 1925 the United States mint offered a commemorative half dollar celebrating the Lexington & Concord battle of 1775 during its 150th anniversary, know as the sesquicentennial.
The piece offered here has been struck over by master engraver Dan Carr changing the date of 1925 to 2025 & changing the sesquicentennial to what we have all now learned is called the semiquincentennial.
This is a rare collectors item with a mintage of only 250.
