Explore the beautiful coastline, subtropical weather, and slow paced lifestyle in a beautiful 2bd/2ba (sleeps 6) condominium on the small Georgia barrier island of Saint Simons.
This is a small, sleepy island 1 hour south of Savannah, Georgia, full of history and southern charm. It's a great place to go and disconnect under the live oaks by the Atlantic Ocean. Fish, swim, dine, ride bikes, tour nearby Jekyll Island where the robber barons vacationed, or Cumberland island, a gorgeous state park and home to the Andrew Carnegie family for generations.
Enjoy trolling on the pier, looking at the stars at night or checking out what is biting in the morning. Our unit has two bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen and of course a washer and dryer. There is an ensuite bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom, a second full bath across from the second bedroom and a small balcony.
Ocean Walk is an immaculately kept condo community within walking distance to the Pier and Village of Saint Simons Island. SSI has a slow charm unique to the Golden Isles. The condo is tucked into a quiet corner of Ocean Walk, steps from the recently updated pool and BBQ, newly renovated playground, renovated tennis courts, duck pond, and clubhouse. Sit on the balcony and enjoy a cool drink or bike (or walk) into town for shopping, restaurants, or to watch who is catching what on the pier.
Bicycle rental is nearby, and many folks just rent bikes and use the many bike trails around the island. Ocean Walk features two pools, take your pick, or drive about a mile to the beach.
