Class Time: Monday, 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Class Age: Students in K-5
All art supplies are included.
Location: Sam's Fine Art Studio, conveniently located on Pleasant St. (just 2 minutes from school).
Note: Each student is limited to 1 ticket for 1 class from this auction.
About the Class:
This engaging and creative art class is perfect for young students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Children will explore various art techniques and forms in a fun, welcoming environment. With all materials provided, students will have everything they need to let their creativity shine.

About the Instructor:
Sam Zhao is a dedicated artist that enjoys exploring the world of art as a means of demonstrating his love for life. His works include figures, landscapes, and still-lifes, in both realistic styles and those strongly influenced by impressionism. He has done a number of "plein air" paintings around the Newton neighborhood where he lives, including Crystal Lake and Newton Centre. His works bring harmony and joy, as well as visual excitement to a wide range of audiences.
Sam Zhao first began drawing and sketching at age five. His passion for art continued through college, where he majored in oil painting. Sam is an active member of several art associations, including Oil Painters of American and Newton Art Association. He also teaches painting classes for both children and adults in his in-home art studio in Newton, which is right around the corner from Mason-Rice.
