About the artist:
Holly has been an artist and an animal lover her whole life. Finding all mediums exciting, she works with everything from gouache and watercolor on paper to ornaments painted with acrylics to intaglio on her basement etching press.
Holly received her BFA from Plymouth State University. She spent a year doing her thesis in printmaking with a focus in portraiture, undoubtedly leading to the portraits she currently specializes in. She has taken graduate classes in art therapy at Lesley University and has taught art classes both to adults and children for several years. Her pet portraits were included in The Boston Globe Magazine's 2020 Holiday Gift Guide.
She resides just outside of Boston with her family and two beloved dogs, Hamish and Edith.
