Item Description
Vintage decorative porcelain plate made in Berlin by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory. The design is a raised image of the Brandenburg Gate. Produced after 1993. 9.75".
Berllin's first porcelain manufactory was established in 1751 and was eventually taken over by the Frederick the Great in 1763.
Even today the creative shaping and painting of the "white gold" is accomplished at the hands of experienced masters, using only timeless skills passed down over the centuries. Theis is why all periods of art history are so brilliantly reflected in this world famous porcelain from Berlin.
"The Montrowls were assigned to Berlin 1997-1999, and this plate was a farewell gift from our counterparts in the German Government."
Dinny Montrowl
