Marc Sirinsky holds a BFA from the University of MI School of Art and Design. His photography and has been included in over 70 juried, solo, and group exhibitions and has appeared in publications like F-Stop Magazine, The Hand Magazine, and Photographer's Forum. His museum credits include the AAM, the Bonita Art Museum, and the Bristol Art Museum. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Chicago Public Library and the Griffin Museum of Photography.
"Still Life With Chair" is a Polaroid Emulsion Transfer made early in Marc's career, when he was first captivated by the possibilities of instant prints. This piece turned out to be a pivotal one in his development - both in terms of subject matter and materials.
Themes of home and memory have continued to pervade his work, and he has utilized non-traditional photographic techniques throughout his career. Marc is currently working on a new series of alternative process Polaroid photography.
